21 - 30 October 2020 at Busan International Film Festival, South Korea

The Asian premiere for “A Rifle and a Bag” took place physically in Busan, South Korea in the Wide Angle section. In the company of astonishing films released in 2020, the screening was succeeded by a live Q&A where the three directors, Cristina Hanes, Isabella Rinaldi and Arya Rothe could respond in real time to the questions from the local audience. Truly honoured to have the film shown at Busan International Film Festival.

29 October - 1 November 2020 at Dharamshala International Film Festival, India

The online streaming at Dharamshala International Film Festival marked the Indian premiere of the film! The film is geo-blocked to India and available for the entire period of the festival.

3 - 8 November 2020 at International Film Festival Innsbruck, Austria | Special Mention

During the online edition of IFFI 2020, “A Rifle and a Bag” is screened together with other 11 selected films from all over the world. The film received the Special Mention of the Documentary Competition!
